Steps to prepare healthy stir fried vegetables !

 Ingredients

  • 1 cup broccali floret
  • 1 cup three colors(red, yellow, green) bell pepper cut in strips
  • 4 french beans julienne
  • 1 small carrot cut in strips
  • 6-7 button mushrooms cut in cubes
  • 1/2 cup cabbage (cut in thick strips)
  • 1 medium onion julienne
  • 2 clove of garlic grated
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp hot and sweet tomato ketchup(maggie)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sukiyaki sauce(chings)
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • Pepper to taste(1/5 tsp )
  • Salt to taste (1/4 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp seasame seeds(slightly roasted)
  • 7-8 cashewnuts(slightly roasted)
  • 1-2 tbsp of roasted peanuts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Steps to prepare: 
  1. Slightly blanch broccali, carrot n beans and keep aside.
  2. (You can do this in microwave too. Simply boil one n half cup water for one minute in microwave then add all the vegetables and microwave for one minute at 70% power.)

  • In a small bowl mix together, sukiyaki sauce, sugar, hot and sweet ketchup, soy sauce and keep aside.
  • In a non stick pan heat oil. Add onions and stir for 8-10 seconds. Then add grated garlic and fry till aromatic. Add ginger and garlic paste and stir till it stops spluttering.
  • Add mushrooms and cook till brown. Add broccali, carrot and beans and cook covered with a lid for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add bell peppers and stir. Season with salt and pepper and cook covered with lid for 30-40 seconds.
  • Add cabbage and the sauce into the vegetables and stir untill the sauce is well combined with the vegetables. Sprinkle some seasame seeds. Cook for few more seconds.
  • Transfer on a serving plate. Garnish with seasamic seeds, cashewnuts n peanuts. Serve immediately.
